Owner | Since 2014
I bought Principal Hygiene in 2014 when the previous owner retired, taking on a business originally established in the 1990s. Since then, we’ve continued to build it as a family business, with a focus on personal service, strong customer relationships and a team that supports one another.
It’s lovely to see how the business has grown over the years while keeping that friendly, family feel at its heart.

Managing Director | Since June 2014
I joined Principal Hygiene in June 2014, and my role has grown to include a little bit of everything, from operations and sales to problem-solving, decision-making and the occasional bit of doggy daycare!
I love being part of a family business where everyone pulls together. No two days are quite the same, which is exactly how I like it.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new places, finding great places to eat and spending time with friends. I’m always planning my next holiday, with plenty of walks with Hugo in between.

Accounts Administrator | Since July 2023
I help keep the finances running smoothly behind the scenes, from managing purchase invoices and arranging Direct Debit payments to following up outstanding customer payments. My job is to keep everything organised, up to date and moving in the right direction.
Outside of work, life revolves around my two Leonbergers. I love preparing them for shows and competing around the country. When we’re not in the show ring, I enjoy relaxing at home with my husband and getting stuck into a good Netflix series.

Sales Advisor
My role involves speaking with businesses and helping them find the right solutions for their waste disposal needs. I love talking to people and sharing what Principal Hygiene can offer.
I’ve returned to the company twice, so you could say I’m the office boomerang. This time, I’m here to stay! The family atmosphere makes it a lovely place to work, and I’m also a proud auntie to our office dog, Hugo.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I’m also a bit of a Lego nerd and love getting stuck into a new build.

I help customers with their queries, find solutions to problems and make sure they feel supported. Working alongside such a great team is one of my favourite parts of the job, and there’s always someone happy to help.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, Elsie, and our chocolate Labrador, Ernie. I also love camping with the family and finding new places to eat.

Covering Southport, St Helens, Ormskirk and Wigan
I look after Principal Hygiene customers across Southport, St Helens, Ormskirk and Wigan, providing a friendly, reliable washroom hygiene service.
I love being out on the road, meeting different people and having the independence to organise my day. Getting to know customers along my round is a really enjoyable part of the job.
Outside of work, I enjoy gardening and tackling DIY projects, although I’m equally happy putting my feet up when I get the chance!

Covering the Fylde Coast
With 30 years of experience in the washroom hygiene industry, I can honestly say I still love coming to work. I look after customers across the Fylde Coast and have enjoyed getting to know so many wonderful people over the years.
I’m lucky to work with a brilliant team, and many of my colleagues and customers have become good friends.
Outside of work, I love gardening, going on holiday and getting creative by making clothes and books. I also enjoy lending a hand to the elderly couple who live across the road.

I help customers with queries about their services and liaise with service providers and sites to keep everything running smoothly.
The office has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Being greeted by Hugo each morning is a lovely way to start the day, and someone is almost always singing!
Outside of work, I love playing video games on my PC. To balance out the time spent sitting down, I also enjoy aerial hoop, archery and swimming.
